Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Physiological characters promoting fungi grown outdoor to penetrating indoor environments were studied. Many strains of Scolecobasidium outdoor were found in limestone area and city parks accumulated with cement dust. On the other hand, Scolecobasidium indoor, able to use surfactant as nutrient, was found around water supply using detergent. Fungi growing indoor environments have some excel physiological characters. Namely, they are able to use detergent in higher content, and are more tolerant to heat than other strains outdoor.
