Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study analyzed how Hong Kong, which is ruled under "One country, two systems" formula and has special political and social system differs very much from the mainland China, influence on China's political and social transformation. In the first period of this study, I did a research on Hong Kong's Christian society's activities in the mainalnd to know what kind of role Hong Kong's civil society plays in China. During the period of this study, the "Umbrella movement", in which students and citizens occupied main streets of Hong Kong to demand for true democracy, happend and I did some research on this movement including interview to those who joined this movement.
