Outline of Annual Research Achievements

最終年度は、主に平成26年度までに実施した研究に基づき、その成果の一部を学会にて発表した。（１）中国で働く台湾人とその家族について、上海市およびその近郊の台商子女学校2校の教師・生徒と保護者を対象に実施したヒアリング調査をもとにした発表を日中社会学会第27回大会（2015年6月6日、於：北海道大学）にて行った。（２）台湾の日本人移住者のコミュニティとその変化について、日本社会学会第88回大会国際交流委員会より要請を受け、企画テーマセッション「日台学術交流」（2015年9月19日、於：早稲田大学）にて英語による発表を行った。各発表内容は学会報告論文集にまとめられている。
研究期間全体を通じて実施した研究から、①2010年代に入り、台湾では外国人高度人材の移住・投資を積極的に奨励する形で政策が進展しつつあることが明らかになった。これに関して、NHK BS1より専門家としてのコメント依頼を受けた。②中台両岸間で交通網の発達や生活レベルの近接が進むなかで、台湾人だけでなく、在住日本人の中にも、台湾を拠点に中国や東南アジアも視野に入れてトランスナショナルな生活・ビジネスを行う者も増え始め、移住者コミュニティにも変化がもたらされつつある。一方、③中国に越境移住した台湾人への調査から、台湾人のアイデンティティの決定要因において、親や家族のエスニシティは必ずしも重要な要因でなくなっていること、④新移民の台湾社会への定着化により、台湾社会におけるエスニシティの力学も変化していることが示された。
以上を総括すると、東アジアの地域秩序は、中国とそれに続く形で台頭する東南アジアも含む形で変容しつつあることがわかる。そのなかで、台湾政府や台湾社会が、民主化以降アピールしてきた「多元」というキーワードを軸に、政府側だけではなく、移住者の側からも新たな国家像・社会像が創り上げられようとしているといえる。
