Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Using the previously unknown picture scrolls of the Sado gold and silver mine, researches on the unsolved problems such as the authors, dates and reasons for their production were persued with a success in clarifying parts of the structures of the scrolls.The research also revealed that the additionally depicted copper selection and its smelting reflects the changes in the copper mine management systems and in its technology. The changes in the dimensions and the pigments were also considered for the fulfillment of the database on the Sado gold and silver mine scrolls.
