Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Recently, insurance solicitation styles have been diversifying, such as, the increase of agents which handle articles extending over a plurality of insurance companies including sales of insurance products through banks and universalization of correspondence sales through the Internet. With conscious of these changes in the circumstances of insurance solicitation styles, focusing on duty to provide information at the conclusion of a contract, a tendency of judicial precedents and new regulations introduced following the revision of the Insurance Business Act in 2014 were considered. Related issues were also discussed.
