Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research explores different “tools” to facilitate citizen participation when “democratic deficit” problem is at stake. Several case studies show that the combinations of conventional tools such as demonstrations, referendum, and divestments, and new emerging tools such as twitters, facebooks, and net donations result in maximizing the outcome.
