| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A study on support systems for parents raising children. Parents are expected to raise their children, even if they are doubtful of their abilities to raise children. This study visualizes the role of a parent seeking to raise and nuture their children in a centralized Japanese social structure called a vertical society (community). Child-raising support in such a vertical society is compared to the support provided by an American distributed social structure.
