Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study longitudinally examined the development of self-concept in junior high school students through questionnaire surveys and interviews about the content and evaluation of self-concept. Self-evaluation did not clearly tend to become more negative with age, in both cross-sectional and longitudinal analyses. Further, students' self-description pertaining to extroversion was common in all age groups.
