Outline of Final Research Achievements |
There are 3 findings from this 3 years study as follows, (1) Student could be more meta-cognitive on their reading process when using picture books as resource for developing reading literacy. (2) The result of analyzing many proficient readers researches show us that it would be very effective to use picture books as teaching resources in Language Arts classrooms for developing any comprehension strategies. (3) Picture books could take very important role in literacy curriculum as multimodal texts for developing reading and writing literacy. For elucidating efficacy of picture books, we should elaborate and develop workshop-model learning instead of traditional lessons.
