Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Inoue, M. Fragoulopoulou and K.D. Kuersten have defined and studied a GW*-crossed product of a GW*-algebra which is a natural generalization of a von Neumann algebra. Using the results, they have shown that a type III GW*-algebra is isomorphic to a GW*-crossed product of type II GW*-algebra under natural assumptions.
