Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We prepared 2,2’-binaphthalene derivatives bearing asymmetric recognition sites at 8- and 8’-positions and asymmetric biaryl derivatives bearing various recognition sites at each aryl groups by cross coupling reactions based on palladium chemistry to develop previously reported symmetric 2,2’-binaphthalene derivatives having two recognition sites at symmetrical positions. In particular, recognition of pyrophosphate by the receptor at neutral condition by fluorescence spectroscopy has been successfully achieved.
