Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The interfacial Huisgen condensation between a hydrophilic viologen derivative and a hydrophobic porphyrin derivative gave an unique polymer film possessing well-defined square shape. The film was composed of the stacked thin films and had 100 nm thickness. Same reaction between a hydrophilic biphenyl derivative and a hydrophobic porphyrin derivative gave a thin film having large area. The thickness of the thin film found to be less than 20 nm.
