Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Color change, absorption spectra, and crystal structure of mixture thin films of bis(1,2-dionedioximato)metals(II) complexes have been studied under high pressure. The pressure-induced color change of these mixture films were studied systematically at various pressures, and these complexes were able to be used as high-pressure indicators. We have been able to widen the selection of the pressure indicators in the high-pressure experiments.
