Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A new method is proposed to fabricate infrared polymer-coated silver hollow fibers with high mechanical strength for noninvasion endoscope treatment. Polyimide coating is used as a protective polymer to the outer wall of silica glass capillary. Mechanical and transmission properties of the hollow fibers have been discussed.
