Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to clarify the overall project of Baan Eua Arthorn mass housing projects provided by Thailand National Housing Authority and to reveal actual conditions of residents’ livelihood in an around Bangkok and provincial area through continuous fieldworks. This project is contributed to housing provision for middle and low-income people, to improve living environments not only residential area but also neighboring area to serve variety of open space. Furthermore it is surprising that annual festivals and various events are organized in each residential area despite the urban/rural location and size of the communities. Other than these, there is a diversity community activities and various support by NHA staff is much more contributed to vitalize them.
