Outline of Final Research Achievements

Using human monocytic cell line THP-1, we developed a simple and high-throughput method to evaluate drug allergenicity in vitro, which is utilizing real-time RT-PCR. In addition, we established the cell lines, from THP-1, stably expressing a representative drug metabolizing enzyme CYP3A4, which is expected to be utilized for our new method above mentioned.
