Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In the analysis of aristolochic acid in the crude drug using the official method, it is sometimes difficult to judge existence or non-existence of aristolochic acid because of interfering peaks. In this study, we investigated to develop a sensitive and selective method to analyze aristolochic acid. As a result, a selective method to analyze aristolochic acid in crude drugs and kampo products was established by the combination use of solid-phase extraction and high-performance liquid chromatography/ mass spectrometer.
