Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We tried to calculate pancreatic blood flow using ASL-MRI method. We evaluated several new imaging protocol for ASL-MRI. In some normal volunteer, we could calculate pancreatic blood flow by this new method, but in clinical cases, it was hard to obtain optical data. We thought that the problem was due to imaging protocol for ASL-MRI., thus, we continue to create suitable imaging protocol using water-flow phantom model. We expect to success new imaging protocol and to obtain true pancreatic blood flow in the clinical cases, such as chronic pancreatitis.
