Outline of Final Research Achievements

We previously demonstrated that a specific cysteine residue is crucially involved in regulation of RET kinase activity. In this study, we successfully inhibited the oncogenic RET kinase activity through the cysteine mediated novel regulation mechanisms and suppressed the malignancy of RET expressed tumor cells.
