Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to develop advanced and intuitive surgical navigation system, we have developed a 3D-virutual navigation system with a novel function, “interactively communication between the real space and the virtual space”, providing virtual 3D-surgical field view during surgery in which anatomical information constantly varying as surgery goes. We have also tried to introduce a concept of a new image-guided surgical support platform seamlessly supporting preoperative surgical simulation and intraoperative navigation.
