Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In the present study, high-fat diet (HFD) containing Palmitic acid (PA) promoted growth and invasiveness of prostate cancer (PCa) cells through the upregulation of MIC1 expression. In addition, HFD modulates fatty acid synthase (FASN) expression, which may be an important mechanism in HFD-associated PCa progression.
