Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of this research is to develop programs to improve built environment for safety of children. A park was improved by residents and enhanced children’s independent mobility was identified through questionnaire surveys in Kume area, Matsuyama City. In Fukuoka City, Kego Park was reconstructed balancing safety and landscape as a result of our advice to decrease juvenile delinquency. In addition, we developed programs to improve built environment for Adachi Ward and Tokyo Metropolitan Government and published guidebooks.
