Research Abstract |
In this project, we have developed automated identification technologies for 2D X-ray images such as dental radiographs, 3D images such as CT and MRI and 2D-3D heterogeneous images using Phase-Only Correlation (POC), which is a high-accuracy image matching technique using phase information of discrete Fourier transform. We have demonstrated effectiveness of the developed technologies through large-scale experiments for performance evaluation.
