Research Abstract |
An original research method is proposed for applied sport sciences, in which improving end results based on individual differences is prioritized over verifying general mechanism. An indispensable element of this new research paradigm would be selecting a comprehensive parameter that can predict a target end result. Psychological states that can be self-evaluated by using the Two-Dimensional Mood Scale could be used as a predictive parameter. It is also proposed that studies utilize not only subjective psychological indices, but also objective behavioral indices.
