Research Abstract |
Extremely new synthetic method of Graphene Nanoribbons (GNR) using electrochemical technique was demonstrated. Precursor of naphthalene derivative was applied to the electrochemical epitaxial polymerization technique, resulting in producing GNR on Au(111) surface. Produced GNR was annealed in ultra high vacuum condition to form perfect dehydrogenation. This structure was analyzed by scanning tunneling microscope and Raman spectroscopy.
