Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research project aims to investigate the political functions of funeral oration in Andre Malraux’s “Oraisons funebres” (1971). Our analysis of “Transfert des cendres de Jean Moulin au Pantheon” showed that Malraux, the first French Minister of Culture, created the myth of foundation of French Fifth Republic.
