Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The survey results indicated that teachers often required students to "understanding" and "analysis" newspaper articles at a school. However, even sixth graders can "reflection" and "counter" the newspaper articles, if they have multiple newspaper articles and instructions to promote critical reading. The findings also suggested that NIE activities like "comparison of the article" or "discussion" are important for student to read critically.
