Research Abstract |
Seismic radial anisotropy beneath Japanese islands is extensively studied. Both bodywave traveltime tomography and multi-band surface array tomography indicate the presence of significant radial anisotropy beneath Japan, which shed new light on elucidation of the deformation processes and magmatism taking place there.
