Research Abstract |
The investigation aims of developing an In-Core Shield Column (ICS) for enhancing the ductility capacity of large reinforced concrete bridge piers under extreme earthquake ground motions. The effectiveness of ICS was verified based on a series of hybrid loading and dynamic response analysis.
