Research Abstract

In order to change E. coli to an autotroph, heterologous expression of RubisCO (Ribulose bisphosphate carboxylase/ oxygenase), PRK (Phosphoribulokinase), and NAD reducing hydrogenase from Ralstonia eutropha were attempted. NAD reducing hydrogenase was successfully expressed under anaerobic growth condition. Also, expression of RubisCO and PRK has been done successfully. Now, final experiment for the checking of the change is being performed.
