Research Abstract |
lncRNA ANRIL negatively regulates tumore suppressor p16Ink4 via recruitment of PRC2. We found that RNA immunoprecipitation method is applicable for a screening system to evaluate the binding between ANRIL and SUZ12, a component of PRC2. Moreover, we developed quantitation methods to measure fifteen known lncRNAs including ANRIL to evaluate their association with cancer development. Although, we evaluate them in hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines with or without HBx-expression using this system, there are no lncRNA oscillating by HBx-expression. Further evaluation will be required.
