Research Abstract |
Acute rejection after lung transplantation is lethal.We discovered a significant decrease in alveolar fluid clearance at 72hrs after animal lung transplantaion by acute rejection models. On the other hand discovered a no significant change in alveolar fluid clearance at 72hrs after animal lung transplantaion by non-acute rejection models. Monitoring of alveolar epithelial function after lung transplantaion is useful for detection by acute rejection.
