Research Abstract |
In this study, we prepared the acellular dermal matrix from the skin of giant melanocytic nevi using hypertonic saline (1 N NaCl), 0.05 % trypsin, 0.1 % SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate), and high-hydrostatic pressurization (HHP). No obvious damage to dermis was observed in all methods. SDS could decellularize skin easily, however it had cytotoxicity to prevent the attachment of cells. HHP was also useful for decellularization and it could be applied in a clinical application.
