Outline of Final Research Achievements

Purpose: We have reported that cooling effect of Cabbage leaf for engorgement of breasts on postpartum. Method: Material is Cabbage leaf. It was attached Cooling Cabbage leaf to the engorgement breast whole. I measured the temperature of the cabbage leaf attached part by thermistor (SHIBAURA MODERU MGA-111), and blood flows (ADVANCE Laser Doppler ALF21D).
The temperature goes down five minutes after cooling, and recover gradually. Blood flows of engorgement breasts goes rise gradually after cooling. It was suggested that the increase blood flows of engorgement breasts after cooling by Cabbage leaf.
