Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Although many sport psychology practitioners believe that performance enhancement is related to psychological development, few studies have examined this issue. This study assumed that dialogical athletic experiences (DAE) promote performance enhancement in relation to psychological development, and focused in particular on DAE’s effect on performance enhancement. As a result of DAE enhancement, participants obtained greater body awareness, engaged in their training more actively and independently, and enhanced their performance. These results suggest a novel intervention for enhancement of athletic performance.
