Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study has conducted a “semantic” research on very “polysemous” prepositions, which are usually regarded mistakenly as “function” words, i.e., void of semantic meanings, through looking closely at their idiomatic phrases, in order to provide a key to the homology studies on English and Japanese.
