Research Abstract |
Early in the 20th century, many Chinese students came to Japan to study economics, and Japanese economists visited China as government policy advisors or school lecturers. It is still not clear how Chinese students in Japan studied economics, what opinion Japanese economists had about China's economy, and how Chinese intellectuals accepted their opinions. This research focused on two Japanese economists, Fukuda Tokuzo and Horie Kiichi to demonstrate a part of this Sino-Japanese relations.
