Research Abstract

Belle実験で取得した1.02億のUpsilon(1S)事象と1.58億のUpsilon(2S)事象を用い、phi K+ K-、omega pi+ pi-、K*0(892) K- pi+への3体崩壊と、phi f2'(1525)、omega f2(1270)、rho a2(1320)、K*0(892) anti-K2*0(1430)への2体ベクトル・テンソル崩壊と、K1(1270)+ K-、K1(1400)+ K-、b_1(1235)+ pi-への2体擬ベクトル・擬スカラー崩壊の解析を行った。また、同じデータを用い、KS0 K+ pi-、pi+ pi- pi0 pi0、pi+ pi- pi0への多体崩壊と、K*(892)0 anti-K0、K*(892)- K+、omega pi0、rho piへの2体ベクトル・擬スカラー崩壊の解析を行った。
結果として、Upsilon(1S)のphi K+ K-、omega pi+ pi-、K*0 K- pi+、K*0 K2*0、KS0 K+ pi-、pi+ pi- pi0 pi0への崩壊と、Upsilon(2S)のphi K+ K-、K*0 K- pi+、pi+ pi- pi0 pi0への崩壊に対し、世界初となる信号の観測に成功した。解析を行ったすべての崩壊過程に対して、崩壊分岐比の測定値を得た。信号の重要度が3sigmaより小さい崩壊に対しては、崩壊分岐比の上限値を設定した。Upsilon(1S)とUpsilon(2S)の同じ終状態への崩壊における分岐比の比から、OZI抑制されたボトモニウム崩壊の摂動的QCD理論のテストに関する、重要な知見を得た。
