Research Abstract

In a mouse model of cutaneous ischemia-reperfusion injury, local administration of anti-IL-6 antibody inhibited expression of TNF-alpha and inducible nitric oxide synthase, and reduced cytotoxicity of them. And we checked the safeness about intradermal injection with anti-IL-6 antibody. From that reason, I suggest that anti-IL-6 antibody treatment might prevent the pressure ulcers.
