Research Abstract |
Expression of HLA-DR on endothelial cells was elicited by IFNg treatment. HLA class I expression was also increased about 4-5 fold. When treated with IFNg, anti-HLA class I and DR antibody binding to endothelial cells did not show any cytoprotective effect against complement-mediated cytotoxicity (CDC) and activated AKT signal, while pre-incubation with anti-A antibody habe resistance to CDC. Anti-HLA class II DR IgG antibody purified from patient sera decreased CD59 expression.
