Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research project, we examined the functional roles of CD166/activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule (ALCAM) in glioblastoma. We found that ALCAM is involved in glioblastoma angiogenesis through VEGF independent mechanism. Our results suggest that ALCAM could be a new anti-angiogeneic agent in glioblastoma.
