Research Abstract

In retina and vitreous body of POMGnT1-deficient mice which was a model mouse of Muscle-Eye-Brain disease, We analyzed expression of various cytokine and tried elucidation of the mechanism that an astrocytic abnormal increase produced. As a result of immunohistochemistry for VEGF, HGF, and PDGF, it was recognized that the expression of VEGF and PDGF-A in retinal surface and vitreous bodies of POMGnT1-deficient mice was increased.
