Outline of Final Research Achievements

OBJECTIVES:This study was conducted to analyze strategy of supporting children with autism spectrum disorders to transition to primary school for the construction of the inclusive education system.
METHODS:Data was collected through semi-structured interviews with 8 mothers of children with autism spectrum disorders enrolled grades 1-2 to assess support before and after admission to elementary schools. Their answers were analyzed qualitatively.
RESULTS:Opinions on support for medical institutions, child development support center, day service such as after school, nursery school, board of education, school for after school children raised.
