Research Abstract |
We developed direct catalytic amination reaction of carbonyl compounds under mild reaction conditions. It is noteworthy that desired amination product was chemoselectively obtained even in the presence of ketone or ester. In addition, catalyst-controlled chemoselective hydroxyl group functionalization of amino acid derivatives over innately more reactive amino group was developed. The present catalysis enabled hydroxy group-selective functionalization of N-unprotected serine-containing peptide.
