Research Abstract |
BH3 profilings for CD4 positive regulatory (Treg) and non regulatory (Tcon) T cells were examined. Different priming between Treg and Tcon was associated to the effect of IL-2, especially on Treg, which contributes to cell survival. This profiling can explain how low dose IL-2 therapy works in patients with chronic graft-versus-host disease.
