Outline of Research at the Start

考古遺物に残存する古代タンパク質を網羅的に同定する古代プロテオーム解析を利用し、過去の病理プロセス復元のための体系的なシステムを樹立し応用する。過去に生きた個人の歯石、古人骨、糞石について分析を実施し、感染症や疾患の痕跡を効果的に同定する手法を洗練させるとともに、方法を適用して、日本や世界の考古学的・人類学的課題に答えることを目指す。
