Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では日本における社会的多数者少数者間の格差に着目し、格差が生成・存続・解消する制度的および規範的メカニズムを探究する。まず、歴史データを整備して格差の長期的動向を計測し、制度改革を自然実験に用いて制度が格差に与える影響を分析する。さらに、制度が変化しても社会規範が不変であれば格差は存続し得るため、独自のパネル調査で少数者に関する人々の規範意識を計測し、規範の変容が格差に与える影響を解明する。
