Outline of Research at the Start

惑星空間を構成する物質の多くは何らかの粉体的性質を持つことがこれまでの探査等で明らかにされてきた．しかし，現行の粉体物理の枠組みは，惑星空間で起こる様々な粉体関連現象を包括的に説明するには至っていない．このギャップを埋めるため，本研究では従来の粉体物理の本質的拡張に挑む．具体的には，繊維状粒子，消える粒子，気流衝突などの効果を粉体物理の枠組みに取り入れた実験を行う．粉体現象と惑星関連現象の両方の理解深化を学際的相乗効果により目指す．本研究で扱う粉体は，日常現象・産業技術・防災科学などとも関係し，幅広い波及効果を持つ．
