Outline of Research at the Start

日本国内では、気候変動の影響と考えられる夏季の絶対湿度（露点温度）の上昇が顕在化しつつある。これまで空調設備がない建物にて保存公開されてきている文化財が、夏季の高湿化等によりカビ等の被害が生じる可能性が、今後益々高まる事が懸念される。本研究では、空調設備がなく自然室温下で文化財が保存されている収蔵展示施設や、内部に障壁画等を有する文化財建造物として二条城本丸御殿、法隆寺金堂壁画収蔵庫等を対象に、気候変動を考慮した自然室温下における環境制御手法を確立することを目的とする。
