Outline of Research at the Start

申請者らは1994年よりアンコール遺跡群バイヨン寺院を中心として保存・修復、調査・研究、人材育成を30年に渡り継続して行ってきた。
本研究では、アンコールの特異性が集約したバイヨン寺院中央塔に関する造営過程及びその背景を建築史・考古学・建築構造・地盤構造学を通じて多角的な視点から考察すると共に、恒久的な安定化に資する適切な保存修復方法を構築する。そしてそれらを将来的に担う若手人材育成方法を提案する。
